I first discovered my passion for health and fitness as a tall, skinny and unconfident 19-year-old. I had always played competitive basketball and loved sports and athletics, however as most young guys do at some stage, I wanted to join a gym and get bigger and stronger. What I soon discovered was how this started to change my whole life. Not only was I physically stronger and my performance in sports was improving, but mentally I felt great – I had more confidence, improved moods, and just a constant positive attitude towards life. My whole ‘quality of life’ changed!
At the time, I was studying a degree In Accounting and Management that I could not finish quick enough, and I was also working at Coles in a customer service role. What I realised from that job is that I have a strong desire to help people and as I had discovered my true passion and calling was in health and fitness, it made complete sense for me to follow the avenue of becoming a Personal Trainer in order to improve the lives of others.
As the founder of Press Fitness, I now pride myself on delivering a suite of health and fitness solutions that are collectively, a manifestation of my own passion and appetite for health and fitness.
